hi, I posted this is another message. I've had lots of problems uninstalling e2k7 so try this, worked for me when I was getting different errors each time on the uninstall from add/remove programs Delete the exchange registry keys from HKLM\System\Current Control Set\Services. Set any remaining services in services console to manual.Reboot and run from the command line exsetup /mode:uninstall. hope this helps.....

GreetingsThanks for the help, at one point I thought that the uninstall was running successfully, everything was showing completed, until the Client Access Role showed a big fat Failed and the same error occurred 0x80005008. Through my 'Googling' this error is prodominently a .Net issue but being a .Net novice I am unable to trouble shoot this problem.Regards
