Hi CCR is for Exchange 2007, and that was Enterprise yes.. Exchange 2010 uses DAG, and it's Enterprise.. http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2010/en/us/licensing.aspx For using DAG you will also need to have Windows 2008 or Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise, it uses the failover clustering API's Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

Oh ok, So meaning to say that, only Mailbox server will use Exchange 2010 Enterprise with Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise. But what about the Edge and Hub Transport, is it OK we use Exchange 2010 Standard edition with Windows Server 2008 Standard ?

Yes, you are correct There's no need for Enterprise on any other role than MBX So for HUB,CAS,Edge you can use Standard with Windows StandardJonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

I was wrong on my first post, sorry for that! DAG doesn't require Enterprise, you can use Standard, but in that case you will only get up to 5 DBs... With Enterprise you can have up to 100 DBsJonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog
