Enabling Outlook Anywhere on Windows 2008 running Exchange 2007
Hello, we have just migrated to an Exchange 2007 server that is running on Server 2008. We would like to enable Outlook Anywhere for the client. So far we have a multidomain go daddy cert installed and enabled on the exchange server. We enabled the IIS and SMTP services when we isntalled the cert. We also turned on Outlook Anywhere on the server. We also have RPC over HTTP enabled on the server. I really think we have everything covered but when we attempt to setup an outlook client on the outside, we are unable to connect. Anything we could be missing? are there any really good articles that walk you through step by step on how to setup Outlook Anywhere? I've found some articles but they don't really seem to be from start to finish.

First step should be to test Outlook Anywhere using MS provided online tool: TestExchangeConnectivity.com This will tell u the error reason, if any. Hi Cali You might need to check your windows firewall on server 2008(exchange07), this might be blocking from accessing outlook anywhere, can you access from inside the network???/ I hope this will fix your issue.
