Enabling Authentication Outgoing Mail Server SBS2003?
We currently use SBS2003/exchange w/ POP3 for our email to Outlook. Recently our email hosting provider, Shaw Cable, migrated their server. Everything else has been fine since we changed our outgoing mail server but several domains get *edit* are not receieved when sent through our SMTP server, and only specific ones. I am NO exchange expert clearly however our mail provider keeps telling up we need to enable authentication for this outgoing mail server, they only had resources to do it directly through outlook however these options are not available in our outlook and I imagine it is because of our mail setup. How would one be able to enable authentication and is this likely to be the cause of our issue? I went through our webmail directly and it works, it just appears the issue arises through SMTP. Thank you for any help that could be provided..
