Enable Unified messaging on exchange 2007
In process ofgetting theUnified messaging up and integrating with OCS.I get an error when I issue the following from Shell:Enable-ummailbox id ct ummailboxpolicy Calabasas Default Policy extensions 10040 SIPResourceIdentifier ct@calidco.local pin 666666 Also when trying to Enable Unified Messaging , via GUI and when specifying "Manually Specify Pin" to dddddd , I get an error that the PIN entered does not comply with the PIN policy for the mailboxThe process does not fail, if I let exchange automatically generate the PIN.Looking at the Organization Configuration --> Unified Messaging -->Pin Policies tab, I see the Minimum PIN length is defined as 6, where else do I need to look to learn more about the PIN policy definition and how should I change my shell script so it does not fail? Also where can I look for the list of Exchange Automatically generated PIN's?Thanksjaytaba@hotmail.com

Check out:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676397.aspx Organization Configuration > Unified Messaging > UM Mailbox Policies > PIN Policies Tab (RTM)Allow common patterns in PIN Use this setting to set PIN complexity requirements for Unified Messaging. These complexity requirements are enforced on PIN changes or when new PINs are created. As a security best practice, it is recommended that you enable this setting. If this setting is enabled, user PINs cannot contain the following: Sequential numbers, such as 123456 or 456789. Repeated numbers, such as 111111 or 8888888. Suffix of the mailbox extension. If this option is disabled, sequential and repeated numbers and the suffix of the mailbox extension will be rejected. If this option is enabled, only the suffix of the mailbox extension will be rejected.
