Enable NDR for mails to disabled user accounts
Hi,we have some disabled user accounts where we don't want to delete the mailboxes. But we prefer that a NDR is generated. This was working until we upgraded our Exchange with a hotfix for another problem (non rfc-compliant receipient-header if foreign characters included in the name). Now we have also the fix included described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903158.In http://blogs.technet.com/benw/archive/2007/07/09/exchange-2003-and-disabled-user-accounts.aspx are some workarounds. But whats with the deletion of the exchange attributes for the disabled users. Then they have no email anymore and so a correct NDR is generated. The mailbox still exists and I can reconnect it when the user needs to be reactivated.Should this a working and "supported" solution?thanks in advanceSven

Hi, Absolutely right. You can implement the issue based on the suggestions in that blog. That can be recognized as the standard answer. Thanks Allen
