Employee termination determined by when email was sent...
Good day, I have an employee who sent a message at a certain time; example 1/1/07 @ 2:30 p.m., but the manager shows that they email was not recieved until, 1/5/07 @ 10:30 p.m. I've checked and the message was not on delayed delivery. Is there anything else that could have caused this message to be help for "x" # of days and then have the time stamp of the later day, not when it was created. I looked in the users sent items and shows the message being sent the day the employee states, but the manager's box shows the message being recieved a different date and time. I'm confused and would appreciate any ideas. TJ

Is said manager's date time, and time zone set correctly on his PC? Have you looked in both employees OWA from the same machine to match times? Also, if you message tracking is enabled, track the message to see what happened. If it isn't enabled, enable it for next time with these instructions http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/246856
