Email to/from notes to/from exchange 2007/2010
So I've seen a bunch of discussion about this but not a lot of clear answers. Simply, we have a notes connector for exchange 2003. We want to get rid of our exchange 2003 environment. So what is needed in exchange 2007/2010 to route notes emails. All users are on exchange 2007 at the moment. Notes only contains some processes that send/receive emails. So we are not migrating. Do i just need smtp connectors? Is the Microsoft Transporter Suite needed?

Hi Brian, Does your lotus and exchange use different addrerss space ?, If yes then you can create remote domain in exchange 2010. You have to create send connector and receive connector for mail flow between Lotus and Exchange 2007 server. I am sure you must have gone thru below article for more details. Anil, I missed that article. That looks to be what I need. I'll talk it over with my notes guys and see if it works. If we do not have a different address space for exchange and notes, we don't need a remote domain?
