Email slows to crawl and will not send or recieve...
We have a Exchange 2007 that was install in April 2009 worked fine with out a flaw, now since a bad memory module on 4-7-2010 the exchange server will crawl to a stand still and not send or recieve email. I have from time to time restarted the Transport subsystem. I have disabled the AntiVirus from running so this is not a factor in the problem. Thanks

Hi, First, I suggest you install all latest updates for Exchange server and Windows server. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee221180(EXCHG.80).aspx Then please run Exbpa to do a health check, it will help you identify some problems and give your some respective suggestions. After that, please check the issue again, if the issue persists, please let me know if there is any related error in event log. If it can’t send or receive mail, the non-deliver report should be received, please paste it here. Please also check the queue viewer for more information about the stuck emails. Thanks, Elvis

Hi, Please check the DiskSpace for "Transport Dumpster ". A minimum of 4 GB of free space must exist (free disk space and free database space) on the drive containing the message queue database, or the transport system will activate back pressure, a system resource monitoring feature of the Exchange Transport service.
