Email not going out
I have a public folder that is mail enabled. I can receive emails from the public folder email address internally but not externally. How do I get the public folder email address to send emails externally?

If you want to send as the public folder then the account needs to have Send As permissions on the Public Folder. Just to be clear, you want to send an email to an external recipient, where the from address is that of the public folder? The usual method to do that is to use a shared mailbox rather than a public folder. It can be done with a public folder though. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources

How do I get the public folder email address to send emails externally? That's a bit confusing. Are you asking two questions? If you want to have the Public Folder *receive* e-mail from anonymous sources (which is how Internet SMTP mail is delivered) you have to assign the role of "Contributor" to the user "Anonymous" in the folder's "Client Permissions".
