Email delivery message error: Delievery has failed to these recipients or groups (not recognized as valid sender...)

Hello all,

I have been experiencing an issue with my email at work. When I try to send an email to anyone outside my organization, I receive the message below (I blocked out email addresses for privacy). This email was a test I tried to send to my personal gmail account. I receive emails fine from outside the organization but again can't reply/send new ones.If there is more information needed, just let me know. Thanks for the help!                                                                                                                          Rick

Hi,

Whats your detailed Exchange environment in your organization? Are you using Exchange Online Protection in your environment?

Additionally, please confirm whether there is any other third-party partner block lists used in your environment. The 550 5.1.8 Access Denied, Bad Sender NDR indicates the user were sending spams which results in this user is placed on the block lists.

We need to remove the sender from the block lists. If this sender is an Gmail.com account instead of an Exchange account, please contact Gmail to remove this account from their block lists.

Hi Winnie,

I'f I'm understanding your first question correctly, our office has VPN to our server headquarters location. I'm not sure for your second question. Is there a way I can check to see if I have Exchange Online Protection? I just know its Microsoft Exchange 2010-Outlook 2010. Sorry!

The gmail account that I was trying to send to was my own personal account. I used my work email (clearesult.com) to send to the gmail. The only reason I was doing this was to know 100% if Outlook was not sending to anyone outside the organization. Since I know my own personal email, it was best and most accurate one to us versus a clients email. The other email addresses have been from clients we have dealt with. Some have yahoo accounts, others gmail, hotmail etc...So I cant say one account works over the other. Every email I have sent out, again outside the organization, gives me the error message previous shown. I hope this helps.

Regards,

Rick
