Email as attachment through Exchange 2007 problem?
I am using MS Outlook 2007 and connected to Exchange 2007 through Outlook Anywhere. I am facing a very weird problem, when I compose a new email and click "AttachItem" from toolbar to attache old email with the message it works fine and I can send to any user within my organization and they can open that attached email without any problem. But problem occurs when I send it to other email systems like Exchange 2003 mailbox user or google, yahoo etc. Those external users received the email and within that attached email appears like no reference when they try to open it ask which program u want to open as its not outlook file. Its very strange. Does anyone know why its happening and how can I solve this problem?

Issue description: When you sent messages attaching with other messages, internal recipients can open attached messages without issue, but external recipient cant open the attached messages Check info: 1. Do all external recipients have such symptom? If only some external recipients have the issue, the issue may not be caused in your organization 2. Do all internal senders have such issue like your mailbox when they send such message? It can help to isolate the root cause 3. When you said external users received the email and within that attached email appears like no reference, do you mean that icon of attached message shows like unknown icon? Which client does external recipients use, outlook? Do external recipients eventually open the attached message after they choose the program as outlook? 4. Please try to send me a such message (attached with a test message), see if the symptom will be reproduced on my side

Yes, I cant open the test mail as well Please enable pipeline tracing for one problematic user on the Hub and Edge server, and check the pipeline tracing log, see if the issue is caused by transport agent Notes: Please disable pipeline tracing after the testing How to Enable Pipeline Tracing Using Pipeline Tracing to Diagnose Transport Agent Problems Also, the issue in the AV software can cause such symptom. Please try to disable the AV temporarily for testing
