Email access via VPN
Hi Guys, Straight ot the point. We have 4 different offices across the Europe with the Biggest one in UK 35 users. All our servers are in USA. No file and print or any other Servers in Europe. WebMail access VPN accessUK have T-1 2MB (sprint) Leased line Watchguard and Sonicwall one Cisco Switch. That is all, and other EU offices have their own ISP(different in each country), same hardware. Problem we are facing at the moment Users having the .pst on their local Drives, and all of them Using Laptops. If any of the laptops gone missing big problem. No back up all.Funny but real. Now my task is to find a way to solve this, as Cheap as Possible. Please what do you recommend for the Servers and any other Hardware, required? My previous experience, that All Users have their PERSONAL FOLDERS ON THE NETWORK AND THEY WILL BE ACCESSING THEM VIA RCA SEC.ID.But all servers were in UK not in US, like in this Example,it was very easy Users connect,Via VPN open the Outlook and all Personal Folders will be visible. But now it will be imposible to do the same scenario with, 2MBlink via T-1 Sprint.Bandwith is too low, Company dont wantto use any3rd partyHosting, because sensitive Emails. Maybe One CENTRALIZED DEDICATED SERVER FOR ALL EUROPE, WITH DIFFERENT ISP, MAYBE BIG JOB, and Expensive to Lease Line Anyone knows which Europian Country(form Norway, Holland, Germany,Spain,UK)have the Chapest ISP for 400gb Email Traffic on daily basis, if backup needed. WHAT DO YOU RECOMEND WHICH HARDWARE ANY BACKUP SOFTWARE.Please let me know, you Ideas,RegardsTimmy
