Email Sent Time Stamp is Wrong (3 hours late)
When I send an email from Outlook/OWA, on the receiving side, the time stamp is 3 hours late. Please see the below example, I actually sent the email at 9:47am, on the receiving side the time stamp on the email is 12:47am when I replied it, the time is 9:48am. From: My Yahoo Account Sent: February-02-11 9:48 AM To: Paul Kao <Exchange Server> Subject: Re: test Reply From: Paul Kao <Exchange Server> To: My Yahoo Account Sent: Wed, February 2, 2011 12:47:46 PM Subject: test test Checked the time/time zone on my computer and the exchange server. Exchange server 2007. I am using Outlook 2010, my colleagues using Outlook 2007, same thing. Please help.

Did you check time zone settings on your Desktop and the Sending mail server? make sure they are reflecting your time zone and correct current time.... make sure server & workstations are sync with AD time. also apply latest patch of DST.Sajjad

Hi OZ, This is normal behaviour if you send email to users who is in other time zone, (You can see header ) of email and can see this. Also to understand this time difference you should convert time zone into one time zone , let say UTC+5:30 then match all time. if you are not getting any delay in email receiving and recepient is on other country then it OK.Anil

Checked all the suggestions, no luck. The email was not sent to different time zone, actually, the email sent by my co-working who sat next to me having wrong time stamp. One thing I did not mention was that exchange server was located in Vancouver and move to Toronto in August 2010, since then the time was wrong, but I had the IT guys checked all the setting and it was correct. Any hidden setting we need to set when moving the server to different time zone. It is a mystery!!! HELP!!!

Your admin needs to use the "copy to reserved accounts" option in the regional settings. since the server was moved after its installation, those accounts are prb still running on the West coast settings
