Edit contact in People
I am not able to open "People" within Outlook to edit my contacts. The working circle keeps going around and nothing happens.

Hello,

First you should try to open MS Outlook in safe mode. If the problem still persists, then you need to move on another method i.e.  Create a new profile and then configure your email account.

Hi,

Please try starting Outlook with the following two commands to check the results.

1. outlook /cleanviews -- If the views set on the Contacts folder are corrupted, this issue may happen. This command restores default views. All custom views that you created are lost.

2. outlook /resetnavpane -- People is part of Outlook navigation pane. This issue may happen if the navigation pane is corrupted. Use the command to clear and regenerate the Navigation Pane for the current profile.

To use the command, close Outlook, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type outlook /cleanviews and press Enter. Use outlook /resetnavpane in the same way if the first command doesn't work.

Hope this helps.
