Edit contact in Outlook 2013

Hi

Unfortunately I cannot see, how to ask a question here http://answers.microsoft.com/de-de/office/forum/office_2013_release?tab=QnA  (any ideas?)

Thats why my non IT Professional question is posted in this forum:

How can I edit an existing contact in Outlook 2013 in the full-view?

(full-view: This is the contact view we know from Outlook 2010, which is still available in 2013, but only during the initial creation of a contact. Editing an existing contact takes place in the new summarized Outlook 2013 contact view).

In Outlook 2013 People, we could edit the contact item by clicking "edit" in the preview pane on the right site or right-click the contact item to choose Edit in the middle pane. But this is new UI for us.

If you want to edit the contact item like the UI in previous Outlook version, please change the view from People view to Address Contacts (or Business Contacts) and then double click the contact item to modify.

Cheers,

Hi and thanks for your input. Yes, with Business contacts it works fine.

Although this is a screenshot of the German version you can see, that we have not the same options:

I miss the option in your setting: Address contacts. Can this view be activated?

Address Cards view is a default view which is build-in the view management in Office proffesional plus version. What's the version of Office you are using?

The view should be saved in OST/PST, does it show in another new creating Outlook profile?

Yes, double clicking on Business contacts works fine. I still don't understand why it does not work in People view. Do you?
