Edge Sync errors and queues backing up.
I have been setting up my first Exchange 2007 deployment, into a new site. I have installed the Client Access, Mailbox Server and Hub Transport roles on to a new server, dedicated to that purpose. I have set up the Accepted Domains and recipient policies OK. I have been able to send and receive mail directly from this server, to the internet OK, but I want to install an Edge server. I only have another domain member server available for this role, but the documentation that I have read says that should work. I have installed ADAM on the edge server, then installed the Edge server role OK. I have exported the .XML file and used it to create an edge subscription on the hub transport server. All of the checks seem to indicate that that is OK. Once I try and send mail out via the edge server, mail just backs up on the queues on the hub server. The same happens to mail coming in to the edge server, mail just backs up in the remore delivery queue. The edge connector seems to be looking for a "--" domain, which was set up automatically by edgesync, but then can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please login to HUB Transport server and run test-edgesynchronization | flcmdlet to verify EdgeSync is correct!
