Edge 2010
I have a few questions about migrating to Edge 2010 sp2 from Edge 2007 sp3. All nailboxes are on 2010. We have 2 HT/CAS 2010. We have our old setup of 2 cas/ht 2007 and 2 stand alone mbx's and 1 edge 2007 all on sp3. 1) Do the rules created in 2007 follow in the subscription? I think they are stored in AD now. 2) We have an internal recieve connector locked down for internal applications and copiers. Do I have to re-create one or will it be moved with the subscription also? Thanks for any help.

You might have to recreate those. See this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd346708.aspx#TS.

Hi, Thanks. From what I read, it looks like it copies the transport rules once but there is no mention of connectors. It's no big deal to re-create another connector but I am curious if it is imported in the subscription process. Thanks again.

Hello, If you mean Edge Subscription, this will not move the receive connector, you need to recreate receive connector on Exchange 2010. You can know more information about Edge Subscription from here: Understanding Edge Subscriptions http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997438.aspx Thanks, Evan Liu TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Evan Liu TechNet Community Support
