Hello,I have two server running 2003. I have installed the Tipical Install of Exchange 07 and the other I have Edge Transport intalled. Yesterday The HD on the Edge Transport server died. I have Reinstalled every thing. But the Problem is that I tryied to Run Start-EdgeSynchronization on the Hub Transport server but I get this message:CouldNotConnectGeneralThe LDAP Server is unavailableI then Get a Warning in the even view as follows:Edge locking server sntransport.corporate.searlnet.com generated exception System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.LdapException: The LDAP server is unavailable. at System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.LdapConnection.Connect() at System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.LdapConnection.BindHelper(NetworkCredential newCredential, Boolean needSetCredential) at System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.LdapConnection.Bind() at Microsoft.Exchange.EdgeSync.Connection..ctor(LdapDirectoryIdentifier directory, NetworkCredential credentials, Boolean toEdge) at Microsoft.Exchange.EdgeSync.ConnectionFactory.Connect(String preferredServer, Boolean toEdge) at Microsoft.Exchange.EdgeSync.Topology.TryLeaseEdge(TopologyServer server, ConnectionFactory edgeConnectionFactory, Boolean syncNow)I have verified that all DNS and IP setting are correct and working.
