Hi I just start new job as Desk Support Analyst. My first task is find out why Ecopy Share Scan v4 is not working with or exchange server. Now we use Lotus Mail system to email information from Canon MFD connectet to pc with ecopy software on it. Ecopy v4 has build in connector for MS exchange 5.5 or later. I can send emails from outlook using account assigned to Ecopy software but I can't from ecopy. All the settings looks ok. Connection test from Ecopy software is ok but when I'm sending email from ecopy all time i get message "Exchange: Invalid user and password". If anyone had similar problem with ecopy share and scan pleas help me. Regards Michal

turn up the logging on exch and see what's going on. What version of exch are you using, because exch 2007/2010 use IP to control relaying, maybe you should remove the account settings and just specify the MFD's IP and configure the connector for relay (2007/2010). - http://exchangepedia.com/2007/01/exchange-server-2007-how-to-allow-relaying.html For 2003, add the MFD to the allowed relay list (depending how it is configured_ on the virtual server propoertiesSukh
