EX 2010 public folder naming
Can anyone tell me if there are limitations I should worry about for public folder names? Specifically I am looking to find out if there are limits to the character count in a public folder name especially when you have multiple sub folders Thanks

The only problem I've run across is when they have leading or trailing spaces in their names. I think this is pretty much limited to folders that were created with older versions of Exchange tools, even going all the way back to Exchange 5.5 and earlier. Another thing to be aware of is that when you mail-enable the public folder, the alias, which is based on the folder name, has to meet the rather strict requirements of Exchange 2010. However, if you're using Exchange 2010 tools, you shouldn't have any problems. This is also only an issue when nonstandard tools are used to create folders, or when folders are migrated from Exchange 2003 or prior and are already dirty.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
