EXCHANGE 2007 - OAB QUERY!!!
Hi Team
Just a query,
In Ex 2007. -> Org Configuration . There is OAB tab in which Default OAB is there
Will this enough to the user who works offline. or We need to create a new OAB to the user who work offline?
What is the purpose of the creating new OAB.
Because i tested in below with default one
1. Disable the Newtwork in windows XP system
2. Ask the user to work with offline in OUTLOOK
3. The user is composing to the new email -- To -> All the address are avaialable in GAL.
IS IT BY DEFAULT?
please suggest !!!!

Hi rush2ramki,
Generally, the default offline address book is enough to use, but in some scenario you would like to create special address list and allow users
use them only, this is why we create new OAB. And by default, outlook uses default offline address book in cache mode.

Hello Team
yes. had gone through the documents anf found it would be create special address list and allow users use them only.
What i did ????na
1 create a new OAb for some set of people
2. Gone to the Database and make the new OAB to availble to the users who are in the database.
3. Logon to the user and Disable the Newtwork in windows XP system
4. check and found the user is having only the new OAB.
It works Great...
