After changing the Adimistrator Password (Active Directory)I am receiving 'DS_E_COMMUNICATION_PROBLEM' failure codes when attemting to log into the MICROSOFT EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR in Exchange 2003. How may I resolve this problem?

Exchange 2003 doesnt use a domain-level service account to access Exchange, rather it uses the Local System Account. Changing the password of the administrator should have not effect Exchange unless you have changed the logon account for any of the Exchange services or you are running Exchange 5.5 in your org.

Does it fail from another server or workstation with ESM installed? or using another account that Exchange permissions? Anything in the event logs?
