EX2003 & EX2007 Co-Existance question
Just a question regarding co-existing with ex2003 and ex2007.When email comes into the organisation does it flow through the 2003 server, then gets passed to the 2007 server? If this is the case does that mean that if mail is being sent to the 2007 server that IMF would filter it before it reaches the 2007 server?thanks

If you have Exchange 2003 org and the add Exchange 2007, incoming and outgoing mail will travel through Exchange 2003 servers. Ideally SCL is calculated when message is first received with SMTP in Exchange,This value is then connected to message and follows it during its lifetime. If IMF is enabled on smtp virtual server it will act upon the SCL value and your settings in IMF. the last thing is when mail is delivered to database, it can then end up in inbox or junkemail folder depending in SCL value.
