EX03 on Server 2000... want to upgrade to Server 2003
Ok, here is my current setup:Two Exchange 2003 servers. One on Server 03 with only a few mailboxes, and one on Server 2000 with the majority of mailboxes. (75ish). I want to upgrade the main Ex server from windows 2000 to 2003. Is there any chance I could just do an OS update without transferring over all the mailboxes to another server first? I dont assume it would be so easy but I figured I would ask.ThanksLee Wilson

Hi Lee The in-place upgrade from Windows 2000 to Windows Server 2003 issupported with Exchange 2003 already installed. The safer method would however be to set up a newWindows 2003server and move the mailboxes. Tony www.activedir.org

Thank You. I am thinking I will remove the anti virus, do a full backup and give it a try.Lee
