Hello i'am new to this forum hopefully i on the right group.I have a exchange 2003 sp2 which is working fine. But if i try to start or manage anything which is related to the full-text-index the ESM freezes. So i could not create the mssearch index (it just freezes). I got also very strange errors in the eventlog during the start of the mssearch service(system startup last more then 30minutes). It was not possible to start or stop the service freezes like the emc. To get the exchange server(ESM) in a managable state back, i remove all Exchange_<SERVERNAME> registry entries in the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Search\1.0...]. And the managable state was reenabled, but now i lack the fulltext function.So I try to reactivate the search, if i but back removed registry the bad behavior is reenabled. So i removed all related files out of theses registry sections but than i don't can add /delete or start the full-text options. I played around with the fixup/reset option of the mssearch_admin tool without success. I reinstalled the exchange server no success. I think i have to rebuild the exchange related mssearch setup but how can i do that?thanks in advancemeno
