When we try and manage PF's on our main PF server, we get this eror when we select Public Folders an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host this just started happening today. We can connect to other 2 exchange 2003 servers with no issues. there is nothing in the logs to indicate any issues.

Make sure the World Wide Web Publishing service is running on all the servers and the websites are up. Is there anything in the event logs?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi Do you see event error like "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {A9E69610-B80D-11D0-B9B9-00A0C922E750} with event ID 10016" Do you install sp1 and sp2 on server. One similar problem is fixed by sp1 windows 2003. public folder administration is handled by IIS in system manager. Go into IIS administrator. Check the properties of the EXADMIN virtual directory. Confirm it is set to integrated and make sure no SSL is required on it. Also check the properties of the default web site. On the Web Site tab, make sure "HTTP Keeps-alive" is enabled.
