ESEUTIL /G - how do you tell if something is wrong?
I recently ran ESEUTIL /G on a MBX database.
There were no errors indicated when the test finished.
Opening the .raw file (found at root of C: drive) in Notepad, there were lots and lots of these entries:
"integrity-check of table "1-xxxxxxxx" (5488) finishes with error 0 (0x0) after 0 seconds"
Am I correct in assuming that error 0 (OxO) means that... there is no error?
That would make sense.
However, at the end of the raw file I see this:
WARNING: Database file is too big (expected 1118000 pages, file is 1118240 pages)
checking unicode fixup table
Followed by this:
Integrity check successful.
Is Integrity check successful the "last word" then?
Can I ignore the "too big warning" above?
Would ESEUTIL state that there is a problem (without me having to look at the .RAW file) in the CLI used to run it, if there was a problem?

Yes it would, and 0 means no error.
