Hi all,I have a trouble executing the prepare to deploy Exchange 2007 command "setup.com /PrepareAllDomains".This is the error:Performing Microsoft Exchange Server Prerequisite Check Organization Checks ......................... COMPLETED Configuring Microsoft Exchange Server Prepare Domain Progress ......................... FAILED Active Directory operation failed on srv-term.grupporosso.it. This error isnot retriable. Additional information: The parameter is incorrect.Active directory response: 00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C090B38, comment: Error in attribute conversion operation, data 0, vece The Exchange Server Setup operation did not complete. For more information, visit http://support.microsoft.com and enter the Error ID. Exchange Server setup encountered an error.The ExBPA Tools says that it's all OK to deploy Exchange 2007 in this Simple Enviroment.I executed these commands with success:- Setup.com /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions- Setup.com /PrepareSchema- Setup.com /PrepareADObviously the server "srv-term" is running Windows 2003 R2 SP2.Any ideas?Thanks.Andrea Baroncelli

There shoudl be an Exchangelogs folder in the root of the drive, check there for more detail around the error.How many domains do you have? Did you check the emtpy forest root to see if the Exchange objects were created? If you ran PrepareAD using Exchange SP1 it would prepare the EFR and the domain you're in. It could be related to the account you're using does not have Enterprise Admin and Domain Admin rights.....What about your GCs? Any Windows 2000/2003 Global Catalogs in the site? Exchange requires at least Windows 2003 with SP1 for a GC.BP

Hi, Please try the steps below to solve the problem. 1. First please enable the Outbound Replication on the Schema Master and then force the AD replication. 2. Try to add the Exchange Servers group in the Manage Auditing and security policy logs in the security settings of the default domain controller. Regards, Xiu
