ERROR un forwarding
Hi, I have 2 Exchange Server 2003 SP2 (@ domain1, @ domain2)
If I send mail from the @domain1 to @domain2 to get well and viceversa. The problem is that if I send an email to an account@domain1 and this has set up a forwarding
account@domain2, it gives me error : Sender ID (PRA) Not Permited
I
checked the
DNS
TXT and
are
incorrect.
I can look
over?
Thanks

How did you setup forwarding. It seems that when you forward email Sender ID is not setup correctly and you have enabled Sender ID checkingWith kind regards

That is expected, workaround in article.
Messages that are sent through Exchange 2003 to an external messaging
server are blocked by Sender ID checking

Hi!!
I have created both TXT such as this:
v=SFP1 mx.exchange.domain1.com IP4: x.x.x.x-all
v=SFP1 mx.exchange.domain2.com IP4: y.y.y.y-all
I add
a contact
and
account in
domain1 -
account@domain2-
and I
add
to
the account of the domain1 - account-@domain1
to have them
resend
Still gives the error. I do something wrong?

Hi!!
I've been reading the article, the worse it comes a question:
1 .- Install the hotfix
2. I run the command:
exarcfg -e -s server_name -v: SMTP virtual server instance number
In my case, it is so?
exarcfg -e -s exchange01.domain.com -v:1
exarcfg -e -s exchange02.domain.com -v:1
I have only one "default SMTP virtual server" on each server.
3 .- Test if it works.
I do backup Exchange before installing this hotfix?
Thanks

Yes install the hotfix, then run exarcfg -e -s server1 -v: 1 on both servers if you plan on doing forwards on each environment respectively.
As far as backups just make sure you have good backups of the databases as usual.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com
