EMC and PowerShell getme an error when are opened
Hi guys!! I have a problem with my Exchange Management Console and with the PowerShell Console. I recently gave the Exchange Recipient Administrator Role to one of my Colleagues in order to he could help me with the related tasks of create, modify and delete AD Users and their related Mailbox (create, modify and delete also). My colleague is member of the Account Operators Domain Group and is member of the Recipient Administrator Group on Exchange 2007 SP1 Organization. I made to my colleague member of the Remote Desktop group on one of my Exchange servers. But now everytime when he opens the EMC or the PowerShell he receive an error. On the EMC he receive the "Cannot find a Domain Controller" and the console ends opening without info, and in the PowerShell Console he receive the same error. I think that is a permission related problem, but until now I cannot find was is the exact cause of how to fix it. So I wonder if some of you maybe could bring me some light on this, I dont know, maybe I'm forgetting something related with some extra permissions that I did not otorgue yet. Best Regards.

Hi, Yes it seems to me a permission issue. Try to add this user as the member of some security group which has domain admin rights and then see. Regards,Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com

Hi Laeeq, thanks for the response. Yes, I was able to find the permission related problem. Other of my coleagues restrict the Account Operators group and I didn't realice that, so and when I made to my coleague member of this group and then when I gave it the role of Recipient Administrator, both tools (EMC and PowerShell console) gave me the error that I mention. A put my coleague out of the Account Operators group and that fix the error, so now we need to readjust the Account Operators permissions to work as we expect and want. Many thanks for the suggestion and believe me that your suggestion was the folowing on the fix list. Regards.
