Hi, as Stellar Phoenix, Ontrack recovery and other 3rd party tools are realy expensive I have decided not to use those. So, does anybody have experience in extracting EDB into PST's? I think Exmerge should do some work, however it can't figure out how it works. Is there a true method for getting out PST's out of EDB?

What version of Exchange? Create a Disaster recovery server and Install it. once done then you can run exmerge if it is Exchange 2003 or Export command if it is Exchange 2007/2010 to get the files into PSt

I don't know of anything free (or cheap) that will allow you to extract PST files out of the flat offline EDB files. You would need to either restore to a recovery server or to a RSG (which requires an online backup/restore) in which case exmerge or export-mailbox would be the right tool.
