EDB's will Not Mount, Repair or Recover.
I have attempted, unsuccessfully, to repair and recover my edb's still will not mount. I have a dirty shutdown and "0" on the consistency. SBS 2003
I have recently began working with this server...Absolutely NO backup. The .pst's are on the workstations and the office is sharing calendars. However, two users can access email's and the calendar's are only viewable. I am shocked this much is happening...
The 9 year old hardware is being replaced. Any suggestions on successfully moving mail to the new server? I have never had an exch issue to this degree.
Many Thanks. :)

As per my know, Database is fully corrupted because of old harddrive
copy the corrupted database and paste it to another location
Check the size of corrupted database
Ran the command
Eseutil /d <database path\datbase.edb>
check the size of corupted database. if it size is very low, we can't do anything this database.
If the size is not reduced, ran the hard repair again
Eseytil /p <database path\datbase.edb>
Eseutil /d <database path\datbase.edb>
isinteg -s <server name> -fix -test alltests

Hopefully you have a copy of the database prior to attempting a repair Sounds like you have a new server up and operational correct? If so and you are looking to get the data out of the damaged EDB, I would copy the EDB and STM off the problem server to an alternation machine and then download Lucid8's DigiScope
http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp, point it at the copy of the database and see if it can successful open it. if so then you can use teh product to export all data to PST
or to migrate directly from the old exchange server offline database to the new production server

Hi,
How is the issue now? What is the detail error event or error information?
You may try to install SBS with the same server name and domain name and then recover exchange database.

Since it is a SBS based exchange server, I recommend you to post the issue in SBS forum to get better help.
