Hello, We arerunning Exchange 2007 CCR cluster, installed like virtual machines on different hosts and disks servers are using are in fact virtual disks that are located on the same LUN, on external storage atached to host server. So, in Exchange we know that best practise is to have one volume for databases and the other one for logs. So my question is what's better and what performance benefits are if: 1. we have separate voumes for logs and databases (but both volumes are in fact virtual disks located on the same on the sam LUN external storage) or 2.we locate both logs and databasesin the same one virtual disk located on LUN external storage Thank you, Regards.
