Quick Question - Exchange 2007 SP 2 - After disabling mailbox it still present in DL members list Ex : User 1 is member of DL 1 . I disabled User 1 mailbox and waited for AD replication. Still I can see User 1 in the memberlist of DL 1. How can I remove the users automatically from DL membership, after disabling their mailboxes. Regards, Ghouse

Take the extra step and remove that account from all groups it is a member of either using ADUC an LDAP query or with the Exhcange tools /Powershell. That is about as automatic as it can get. You can script this of course as well.

Hi Ghouse, After you disable user1 mailbox, you will find the user1's icon is changed. Even if you disable the users1 using ADUC, the users will also be listed as a member(with a down arrow).Frank Wang
