E2K7 SP2 / W2K8 SP2 - IPV6 error /Testing Mail Flow
I am just getting ready to move mailboxes and doing one last check on things. Under the toolbox, I was testing the Mail Flow Troubleshooter and when using the parameter "Users are receiving unexpected non-delivery reports when sending messages" when the tool retrieves basic server information: I get two warnings: IPv6 Protocol not supported (Exch svr not capble of supporting IPV6 addresses ...)and Network Adapter IPv6 Addresses not supported (Exch svr is not capable of supporting IPv6... An IPv6 address was found on adapter......)IPV6 is not disabled on my E2K7 servers.I can I say HELPPPPPP.thanks -eee

Hi,There are various issues while running Exchange server with IPv6. You can get more information why IPv6 is not recommened with Exchange 2007 from the below course. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrtransport/thread/5ac614ee-e4fb-41d9-88f0-363f912634b1http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrtransport/thread/2e9a6263-7863-4d13-9480-7611db222e9e_________Sanjay
