the user has organized several folders in his mailbox. Every so often a bunch of e-mails from many of those folders automaticly get moved to his deleted items box. I checked his rules nothing amiss there. no auto-archiving on. Checked the rules on his delegates.He does have a blackberry but says its not supposed to sync that folder.any ideas?we are running exchange 2003 and outlook 2002-Bob

What about a server-side Mailbox Manager policy? Have you defined one of those?

Everyone is on the same policy and its not happening. The policy only regaurds a 60 day retentation on sent items/deleted items. i.e. 60days and it gone.

Are there perhaps other machines configured with Outlook profiles for this mailbox that get used? If your Mailbox Manager policy doesn't affect these folders, then it has to be something on the client side.

They have a delagate which I checked their rules no issue there either. It has happend on the weekends mostly. I'm not aware of any other machines he uses.
