Duplicate Roomlist's in Exchange / Outlook 2013

Hey guys, any idea why I have two of the same Roomlist's now populating in Outlook 2013?


I added the list, and all looked fine, but for some reason (maybe recent contacts or something) I'm seeing two...  any way to fix/prevent this?

FYI we're running Exchange 2013 CU4 I believe..

Hi,

From your description, I recommend you check if this issue occurs for others. If the issue only occurs for you, I recommend you create a new profile and check the result.

If the issue persists, you need to go into the registry, locate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Office/15.0/Outlook/preferences. There is a string called RoomFinderRecentRoomList, delete this entry and then restart Outlook and check the result.

Note: Please do a backup before deleting it.

I deleted the reg key and that removed the duplicate room... Why would the "recent" room be duplicating the Room in the rooms list?  Is this just an attempt to get the commonly used rooms to the top of the room list?

So this issue is re-occurring and now happening across my organisation, is there a more permanent solution to this issue?

We have the same Issue since 2 days. Deleting the RegKey is only a Workaround. Is there a permanent solution?

If there is no "real" solution can Microsoft create a "Mr Fixit" that I can have users run from their desktops?

Any thoughts on this as we are having the same issue. We are waiting on MS support as well to help. I have tried deleting the key, replacing the value of the key with blank, adding a value to the key but they all get overwritten when the room is category is selected.
