Duplicate Emails coming through on outlook

Hi All,

There's a company of two, two computers and two phones all getting their emails from an 2003 exchange server. Each user(2 users) has a computer and a phone with exchange set up emails. Recently they have been receiving multiple duplicate emails from 3 different senders using 3 different email systems (office365, exchange, hotmail).

I've tried everything i can think of and i'm still getting no where with this. Microsoft won't help as the server is not supported, i was wondering if you guys had any ideas. I'm open to anything, even things i've tried because maybe i was doing it wrong.

Cheers for anyone that responds

Fabian

Hello,

Try this to Outlook Duplicate Prevention:

  • Temporarily Disable or Remove your rules in MS Outlook.
  • Disable the "Leave a Copy of messages on the server". To do so: Open your "Email Account" >> "More Settings" >> "Advanced" >> "Leave a Copy of messages on the server"

Remove Outlook Duplicate Items:

If you have tried all manual methods to remove duplicates from MS Outlook and still appearing duplicate emails .So, in such a scenario you have to move on any third party software. I would like to suggest you a "SysTools Outlook Duplicate Remover Software" to remove all type of duplicates from MS Outlook.

NOTE: Use demo version before purchasing.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Fabian, duplicate emails could be caused by many reasons, such as:

Rules

Multiple accounts

Profile recreation

Synchronization tools

Virus scanner/firewall

Tools to clean up the mess
