Downloading GoogleApps Emails to Outlook 2010

Hi,

I have a google Apps account and I use a lot of labels in gmail.

1) - My requirement is that I want to download all my emails to outlook and keep the emails for offline viewing.Problem is that when you create lables in gmail they become folders in outlook. (when downloading)

Thant means that when I download the emails they will be duplicated in outlook under each folder (which is actually a label in gmail). This could mean that my .pst file could become really huge! ( and I am trying to avoid that!)

2) After my outlook .pst reaches a certain limit I want NEW email to go to another .pst so that the .pst wont get corrupted because its too large etc (I'd like some way of automating this)

Can anyone please help me with these 2 issues that I have?

I'm afraid there is no option within Outlook to set AutoArchive to run based on the size of data file. You may need to find a third-party solution.
