Downloaded Windows 10 and now can't send any emails from Microsoft Outlook Email

Hi There

I downloaded Windows 10 this morning and since it was done can't send any emails from my Microsoft Outlook email. I can receive but not send. There is an error message which says Sending reported error (0x800CCC13): 'Cannot connect to the network. Verify your network connection or modem'

I have full internet connection, can get online and can receive emails so there's no issue with the network or router.

Can someone please advise how I can resolve this please.

Hello,

You should try to run Microsoft Window Resource Checker Tool, also known as "SFC (System File Checker)" to fix this issue. I have discussed the same thread couple of weeks ago.

To recover from the issue, you must run the Microsoft Windows Resource Checker tool, also know as System File Checker or sfc. This tool scans and verifies the integrity of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct versions.

  1. Right click on the Start button of Windows and choose: Command Prompt (Admin).
    • If you dont see this, instead choose: Windows PowerShell (Admin)
  2. Behind the prompt type: sfc /scannow
(note the space in the command)
  3. Wait until the process completes. This usually doesnt take longer than 20 minutes with a regular hard disk and takes much shorter when you have a fast SSD drive.
  4. Restart your computer.
