Domaintype externalrelay not working

Hello,

I'm using Exchange server 2013 and i'm having issues with accepted domain that are "externalrelay".

For exemple i have two domains, first one is "companyA.com" (authoritative) and second one  "companyB.com" (externalrelay).

If a users from companyA send a mail to users from companyB, Exchange will always send the mail on the companyb users mailbox on my infrastructure, not on external mailbox.

I'm using Exchange in multi tenant mode with ABP routing agent (don't know if it's a limitation).

Thanks for you

Hi Jordan,

Based on your description, I know that "companyA.com" is the FQDN for your forest root domain and "companyB.com" is an external domain from other Forest. You have set the "companyB.com" as the External relay domain.

Please make sure you have check the "External Relay Domain" checkbox when configure the accepted domain as an external relay domain. More details to see:

Hi Mavis,

Thanks  for your feedback.

No, companya.com and companyb.com are both accepted domain on my Exchange infrastructure on the same forest. companyB is an externalrelay one and companya authoritative.
