We installed Windows Small Business Server STD 2008 x64-bit with the domain name xxxxx.local and are configuring Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 with BlackBerry Enterprise Server and realized that we need the domain name to be xxxxx.com not xxxxx.local. We already have over 100 hours into the migration from the old server and have the workstations all setup on the domain so starting from scratch is NOT AN OPTION! How do we change the domain name to xxxxx.com and will it affect the workstations? is there a workaround? will the workaround affect the Blackberry Enterprise Server? Thanks In Advance.

Hi,I ve made a change of my domain name and computer.. The server stucked at "applying computer changes". I log in through safe mode and disabled some services. The server responded after a reboot and I attempted to change domain to its original name of .local after reboot I can not login again. I rejects my password. Pls help.
