I want to add teh mailbox role to a CAS/HUB server so I cna have a replica of public folders. Will this require a restart or stopping of Exchange 2007 services to accomplish? I want to avoid downtime as much as possible and schedule it for after-hours if either of the above are required.SnoBoy

Yeah, it needs to be restarted, but apparently this is a bad idea. I couldn't find itdocumented anywhere, but itbroke support for Entourage by mangling the "exchange" virtual directory on IIS 7. Of course when I made the MS support call they said it was "not recommended" which is a euphemism for "we don't document or warn you about this, but it breaks your software"!SnoBoy
