Outlook uses the SCP to get autodiscover info and then configures the profile. I would try a repair of Outlook or a reinstall.Sukh

I've literally tried everything. We've unistalled/reinstalled outlook - deleted registry keys - drop-kicked the PC to oblivion, etc. It still tries to use the mailbox server instead of the CAS server to build the profile. Does anyone know if the outlook client uses a certain registry key to look for the CAS server? Or how it decides which server to build the profile from? Like I said before, I can tell outlook to use the CAS server to build the profile, but it still acts like it's trying to pull free/busy info from the mailbox server by default. And I know that the mailbox server definitely doesn't support the role of free/busy and autodiscover.

Hi all! I have two users who's outlook 2010 tries to create their profiles from the Mailbox server instead of the CAS server. This isn't too big of a deal as I can manually change the server information to point to the CAS server. The problem, however, is that when both users attempt to use the scheduling assistant none of the invitees free/busy information is popping up. It's as if Outlook 2010 is still trying to use the mailbox server as the default CAS server. I know this is strictly a problem on the clients PC/machine as the user can change computers and everything works as intended. I'm just trying to figure out how Outlook 2010 determines which server to use as the CAS and which to use as the mailbox server, and why on these two machines only, is it trying to build the exchange profiles from the mailbox server instead of the CAS.
