Do I use the 32bit installation CD to run Forest and Domain Prep for exchange 2007 in an AD 2003 32 bit domain?
I want to prepare my 2003 AD domain with and existing 2003 to receive exchange 2007. My question is do I use the 32 bit trial software of exchange to prepare the domain? Are there any concerns I should worry about? Do you recommendt 2010 exchange instead of 07?

Hi Andrew,You can use the 32 bit version of exchange server DC to get the AD prepared for exchange server installation. It will not break anything! There is nothing wrong in preparing AD, domain and schema from the exchange server itself.Exchange server 2010 is loaded up with new features and enhancements.Ref to: http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2010/en/us/default.aspx, http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/training/exchange-server.aspx, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995902.aspx.You may also try the Exchange Pre-Deployment Analyzer (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=88b304e7-9912-4cb0-8ead-7479dab1abf2&displaylang=en) and check if your organization can be compatible with E2K10.All the best!!!
