I have assigned "manager can update membership list" to a user ID in a domain other than the one the distribution list resides in. However, they are still unable to manage the distibution list. Any ideas?

OPEN ADUC, -check view advance option, fromSecurity tab. add the user with full control permission. try it again.

Hi, You use Exchange 2003? And outlook 2003? When you want to manage the members of distrubution group using Outlook, what's the error message? Please post it here. Do you use Outlook in cached mode? Please try to use online mode to test.Frank Wang
