Distribution group sends to orginator since the orginator is in that group
We are having an issue where, if i email a distribution group that i am in i get my own message. Everyone is having this issue with every distribution group. Example: I am in WindowsAdmins When i email WindowsAdmins i get my own message. Thanks in advance.

This is by design. :-) No changes can be done. A way around it would be to expand the DL and remove yourself before you send the message.MMilind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com

Milindns right. Its an expected behavior, mails should arrive to your mailbox since you are in that DL You may create a rule on your outlook for such messages: Apply this rule after the message arrives from Your Name and send to DL's Name move it to the From Self folder

Thats really too bad, seems silly that i would get my own email. I don't remember this happening in previous versions. Thanks for the info.

Well, it does happen in all Exchange 200x family products. I categorizer is rewritten everytime with the launch of new product but why this portion was not. :). anyways, this is product limitation so we cant change it.Milind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com
