Disconnected Mailbox Issue.
Hi, We have exchange 2007 CCR setup in our environment. When I tried to remove any mailbox directly from Exchange EMC , Mailbox won't get listed in Disconneted Mailbox LIst. I tried Running Clen-MailboxDatabase command also but it wont appear. Any suggestion would be helpfull . Thanks in advance. Mandar B.

hi, is there any retention policy set on the database? Also when running the clean-database command did u specify the full path of the exchange database that housed the affected mailbox?

Hi, I havent modify default retention period. So by default disabled mailboxes will remove from Disconnected Mailbox list after 14 days. Also while running command I specify fullpath i.e MailBoxServerName/StorageGroupName/MailboxDatabaseName but still it wont work.

Hi Mandra, Sometimes it may take a while before the disconnected mailbox shows up. But just to be certain, do a get-mailbox on the mailbox db to ensure the user mailbox no longer exists (as been removed). If it no longer exists then you may have to wait a while for the removed mailbox to appear in disconnected mailboxes.

Hi, It takes sometime indeed but to make sure you don't miss a database. get-mailboxdatabase * | clean-mailboxdatabase Don't forget to refresh the console :-) Greetzz, Timmy
