Disappearing Pictures in Outlook 2003 Emails
I publish a small newsletter monthly containing several pictures as well as text. The pictures have been saved from various sources and embedded into an Outlook 2003 email as jpg, gif, Windows Metafile or independent bitmap formats. The email is received in good shape by recipients. When I save the htm file for archiving the issue, the pictures are stripped from the body of the email and appear as attachments in the saved file. The original positions of the pictures in the email is retained but only with a blank box having a small red x in the upper left cornor of the box. How do I get my pictures back into the body of the email? The interesting thing is that when I send someone an archived copy the attachement pictures appear in their original places.
